A little bit of fun...

I rather like having a Daemon, it's a bit like having one's alter-ego made corporeal. I also like having a cat as my alter-ego, as I've always had a fascination for the creatures ever since I was a small girl. Cats are ultra cool in my book.

As for the Golden Compass, I hope the film will be as good as the books, and I hope that Phillip Pullman retains the integrity of the story in this adaptation and doesn't let the director spoil the whole thing. Or I shall be very cross indeed.
